Resort: Royal Sands & Spa

The Royal Sands & Spa is the newest Royal Resort in Cancun. The resort is located on a spectacular beach very close to Kukulcan Plaza.

The Royal Sands & Spa is located in the former lot of the Casa Maya. Over the years, many Presidents and other foreign dignitaries stayed at Casa Maya. Many of the original furnishings of the Casa Maya decorate the lobby of the Royal Sands & Spa. The Casa Maya was taken down brick by brick and rebuilt in Kabah Park in the city of Cancun as a museum.

One of the largest and most sophisticated facilities in the Americas, the Spa offers a variety of services, including a fitness center with weight and cardiovascular equipment, a sauna, a full-service beauty salon and a stellar collection of treatments to pamper the body and soothe the mind, leaving you refreshed and revitalized.

The cost for the use of the Fitness Center and aerobics room is $12.00 US per person per day. A weekly package is also available for $50.00 US including optional use of the wet area.

Diving is very popular among our members and guests. Solo Buceo, located at the Sports Desk offers scuba diving trips, PADI lessons and certification. Scuba diving demos are offered free of charge.

The Royal Sands & Spa has a full program of activities to enhance your vacation. The Piñata Party held every Sunday and the full program of children's activities gives your kids a chance to meet new friends at the resort.

At the Royal Yacht Club Marina, complimentary sailing lessons are available, as well as the free use of sailboats (one hour a day, per villa).

A knowledgable tour representative can help you plan your excursions and day trips whether you are looking for deep sea fishing, scuba diving, archaelogical sites, island tours, or dolphin swims.

At the La Veranda you can enjoy the international menu in the air-conditioned insides or outside on the terrace overlooking the pool. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The Hacienda Sisal serves all your Mexican favorites including sizzling fajitas, seafood, and steaks in a romantic setting. Weekly entertainmnet. Reservations required.

The elegantly furnished villas at the Royal Sands & Spa offer a spacious 1,448 square feet of living space. All of the villas are completely furnished, equipped, and air-conditioned. The villas feature two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, dining room, and a kitchen.

The fully equipped kitchen includes everything you need during your vacation including a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, and even a blender for making your own tropical drinks!

Both bedrooms open up to a large private fully furnished balconies with panoramic views of the resort or the ocean.

The villas can be used as one unit that is designed to sleep up to 6 or they may be split into two independent units. The master suite sleeps 4 and includes the master bedroom, bathroom, living room with two Murphy Beds, dining room, and kitchen. The hotel room or 'lockoff' sleeps 2 and includes one bedroom and one bathroom.

Buildings A, I and P are ocean front with views directly out over the Caribbean.. The units in all other buildings have spectacular views over the pools and gardens and the ocean.
