The Royal Islander has a full program of activities to enhance your vacation. The PiƱata Party held every Sunday and the full program of children's activities gives your kids a chance to meet new friends at the resort.
At the Royal Yacht Club Marina, complimentary sailing lessons are available, as well as the free use of sailboats (one hour a day, per villa).

Paco's Tacos offers Tex-Mex hard shelled tacos, burritos, and fajitas along with more traditional Mexican fare such as tacos with soft corn and flour tortillas, guacamole, spicy salsas, tortilla soup, and more.
You are also invited to enjoy any of the restaurants at all 6 Royal Resorts, including the neighboring Royal Mayan and Royal Islander. Free shuttle service between resorts is available.
All the elegantly furnished villas at the Royal Islander have spectacular views of the Caribbean. The beachfront units look directly out over the water while the ocean view units have views of the pools and gardens with the sea beyond.
The fully equipped kitchen includes everything you need during your vacation including a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, an0d even a blender for making your own tropical drinks!
Both bedrooms open up to a large fully furnished balcony with panoramic views of the Caribbean.
The villas can be used as one unit that is designed to sleep up to 6 or they may be split into two independent units. The master suite sleeps 4 and includes the master bedroom, bathroom, living room with two Murphy Beds, dining room, and kitchen. The hotel room or 'lockoff' sleeps 2 and includes one bedroom and one bathroom.
Unit numbering:
- The first digit indicates the resort number (4).
- The second digit indicates the building number.
- The third digit indicates the floor number.
- The fourth digit indicates the unit number, from left to right.
For example, unit 4811 is in building eight, first floor, first unit.
Units in buildings 1, 7 and 8 are ocean front with views out over the Caribbean.
Units in all other buildings are considered ocean view. They look over the pools, gardens and the Caribbean.
